Katie and Nick met through a mutual friend one night at a bar. The small group they were with were talking about fun trips everyone likes to take and they just clicked. Katie and her friend decided to leave to go to another place for country night. Nick told Katie he would meet her there. That night Nick line danced (for the first and last time). It happened to be Nick’s birthday the next day, so when the clock struck midnight,,, it was only proper to get a brownie sundae, which Katie ate the entire thing. They haven’t been apart since that night 🙂 Katie and Nick dated for 3 1/2 years. Nick proposed to Katie on a surprise trip to Charleston in front of the famous Pineapple Fountain.
